The United Nations has now screwed the Palestinians twice. Twice, that is, if we exclude just how little it has done in the 77 years since the Western World agreed to let European Zionists colonise Palestinian land in the Middle East and pretend it was their home.
The UN General Assembly voted to partition Palestine in 1947 into an Arab state and a Jewish state. The plan allocated 56% of Palestine to the Zionists, and just 43% to the Palestinians themselves (Jerusalem was to be under international stewardship), this is despite the facts that Palestinian Arabs made up two thirds of the population and Zionist Jews just a third, and notwithstanding that the Jews only owned 7% of the land.
The Palestinians didn’t agree to the deal, neither did the Arab League. The approval of the UN plan to partition the country sparked a civil war and the First Nakba, where 700,000 Palestinians representing 85% of the population were expelled by violent Zionist paramilitaries. Israel declared independence in 1948, and this chain of events led to the First Arab-Israeli War which resulted in Zionist Israel stealing 77% of Palestinian Lands. And Israel has been stealing everything - land, lives, dignity, the right to self-determination - ever since.
On November the 17th, the UN Security Council voted for Trump’s peace plan for Gaza, with 13 in favour, and Russia and China abstaining. The plan is wrong and unjust on many levels, but at root it contains a trade: an end to the genocide of Gaza for an end to Palestinian statehood.
Dissecting Trump’s 20-Point Peace Plan for Gaza:
Gaza will be a deradicalised terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbours.
‘Deradicalising’ a state that has not attacked any of its neighbours and been genocided by a state that has attacked 7 of its neighbours is not the basis for a peace plan that leads anywhere good.
Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.
More than a million lifetimes at the hands of the state this peace plan does everything to protect.
If both sides agree to this proposal, the war will immediately end. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed upon line to prepare for a hostage release. During this time, all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended, and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are met for the complete staged withdrawal.
This is not a war; it is a genocide. The issue was never about hostages, of which Israel has many many more than Palestine. The issue is that one people believes it has a God-given right to exterminate another people and steal their land.
Within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement, all hostages, alive and deceased, will be returned.
Imagine I was burning down your house which I claimed was because you had stolen few of my teaspoons. This peace plan focuses on the teaspoons, and not on the burning down of the house. And this analogy only begins to capture what’s at play here.
Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1,700 Gazans who were detained after 7 October 2023, including all women and children detained in that context. For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released, Israel will release the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.
If we’re going to trade in numbers, let’s be honest about them at the very least.
Once all hostages are returned, Hamas members who commit to peaceful co-existence and to decommission their weapons will be given amnesty. Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza will be provided safe passage to receiving countries.
Are we going to be decommissioning the IDF that has butchered what is easily over 100,000 people, including thousands upon thousands of children and babies? Hamas is the only military Palestine has. It is also one of the two largest parties. This is a non sequitur for statehood.
Upon acceptance of this agreement, full aid will be immediately sent into the Gaza Strip. At a minimum, aid quantities will be consistent with what was included in the 19 January 2025 agreement regarding humanitarian aid, including rehabilitation of infrastructure (water, electricity, sewage), rehabilitation of hospitals and bakeries, and entry of necessary equipment to remove rubble and open roads.
So when a person is raped, they can receive the medical care they need and the protection of the police once they sign a statement to say the rape was their own fault? Pure unadulterated horrific madness.
Entry of distribution and aid in the Gaza Strip will proceed without interference from the two parties through the United Nations and its agencies, and the Red Crescent, in addition to other international institutions not associated in any manner with either party. Opening the Rafah crossing in both directions will be subject to the same mechanism implemented under 19 January 2025 agreement.
The same.
Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza. This committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body, the “Board of Peace,” which will be headed and chaired by President Donald J. Trump, with other members and heads of state to be announced, including Former Prime Minister Tony Blair. This body will set the framework and handle the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform programme, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump’s peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment.
Tony Blair - the butcher of Baghdad? Are you kidding me? ‘Completed’ its reform programme’? This does not treat the crime for what it is. It does not diagnose the problem for it is. It does not punish the criminal for what they’ve done. It does not set the foundation for a state for what it needs to be.
This is kind of like the mafia infiltrating your business, killing your staff and stealing your company, for the very same mafia to be brought in for the rebuild.
A Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energise Gaza will be created by convening a panel of experts who have helped birth some of the thriving modern miracle cities in the Middle East. Many thoughtful investment proposals and exciting development ideas have been crafted by well-meaning international groups, and will be considered to synthesize the security and governance frameworks to attract and facilitate these investments that will create jobs, opportunity, and hope for future Gaza.
‘Thoughtful investment proposals’? This sounds a lot like the sort of thing someone says when they’re about to fleece you and take you for everything you have. Will these proposals include beach resorts for Zionists and soulless foreigners with massive security infrastructure to keep the people who actually own the land away from their own sea?
The Second Ten Points:
A special economic zone will be established with preferred tariff and access rates to be negotiated with participating countries.
More of the same.
No one will be forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave will be free to do so and free to return. We will encourage people to stay and offer them the opportunity to build a better Gaza.
This sounds highly suspicious to me. They’ll be ‘free’ in theory to do what they want, but of course in practice absolutely everything will be done to make them leave and make them never want to come back. ‘Better’? Gaza and Palestine would be both fine and free to shape their own destiny if they had not been colonised. Freedom in the abstract means nothing at all; it is just an idea and a beautiful aspiration. Unless freedom in the abstract is upheld and underwritten in real concrete reality, it is pure emptiness, and it is often used as means for pretending all is well, right and just.
Hamas and other factions agree to not have any role in the governance of Gaza, directly, indirectly, or in any form. All military, terror, and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, will be destroyed and not rebuilt. There will be a process of demilitarisation of Gaza under the supervision of independent monitors, which will include placing weapons permanently beyond use through an agreed process of decommissioning, and supported by an internationally funded buy back and reintegration programme all verified by the independent monitors. New Gaza will be fully committed to building a prosperous economy and to peaceful coexistence with their neighbours.
A state without a military and the right to choose who it wants to govern it is not a state. Imagine I say to you, ‘you’re an individual like everyone else, you just can’t defend yourself if someone attacks and you’re not allowed make your own decisions.’ And again, this analogy only captures part of just how problematic this is.
A guarantee will be provided by regional partners to ensure that Hamas, and the factions, comply with their obligations and that New Gaza poses no threat to its neighbours or its people.
Words and ideas no longer mean anything here. Up is down. Down is up. Right is wrong. Good is evil and evil is good. There is no possibility of fixing or curing anything when the diagnosis is like this.
The United States will work with Arab and international partners to develop a temporary International Stabilisation Force (ISF) to immediately deploy in Gaza. The ISF will train and provide support to vetted Palestinian police forces in Gaza, and will consult with Jordan and Egypt who have extensive experience in this field. This force will be the long-term internal security solution. The ISF will work with Israel and Egypt to help secure border areas, along with newly trained Palestinian police forces. It is critical to prevent munitions from entering Gaza and to facilitate the rapid and secure flow of goods to rebuild and revitalize Gaza. A deconfliction mechanism will be agreed upon by the parties.
‘Vetted’? This means that the worst possible people in Palestine will make up its police force. And the serial killer will be part of the ‘reform’ every step of the way.
Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza. As the ISF establishes control and stability, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will withdraw based on standards, milestones, and timeframes linked to demilitarization that will be agreed upon between the IDF, ISF, the guarantors, and the United States, with the objective of a secure Gaza that no longer poses a threat to Israel, Egypt, or its citizens. Practically, the IDF will progressively hand over the Gaza territory it occupies to the ISF according to an agreement they will make with the transitional authority until they are withdrawn completely from Gaza, save for a security perimeter presence that will remain until Gaza is properly secure from any resurgent terror threat.
Israel and the IDF have committed a genocide in Gaza. There was no war. There can be no slow process of demilitarisation. We all know Israel won’t be punished for any of its crimes, but it should be treated at the very least like an invading state that must get out the state it has invaded post haste.
In the event Hamas delays or rejects this proposal, the above, including the scaled-up aid operation, will proceed in the terror-free areas handed over from the IDF to the ISF.
The Paris Peace Conference of 1919 and the Treaty of Versailles are among the very worst agreements in history. This plan is up there too. It is riddled with just so much that is wrong that it can lead nowhere good. I understand that with it the genocide should stop at the very least, however, what it amounts to down the line is very scary. The most important issue is what the agreement means for Palestinian statehood down the line.
An interfaith dialogue process will be established based on the values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence to try and change mindsets and narratives of Palestinians and Israelis by emphasizing the benefits that can be derived from peace.
Zionist Israelis are the least tolerant people on the planet. Zionist Israel is a genocidal, apocalyptic, messianic death cult that is built on terror, fuels itself on terror and exists only to spread terror. It is a state built on celestial supremacism. There can be no peace and tolerance with such people. They need to be kept away from all Palestinians and all of Palestine by the most powerful peace-keeping force possible, and one that is made up of as many non-Zionist-friendly states as possible.
While Gaza re-development advances and when the PA reform programme is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognise as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.
All that precedes this nullifies Palestinian statehood and any basis for a Palestinian state. A state has to have an army to defend itself against what it sees as threats. It has to be free to define what constitutes a threat for itself. It has to be free to choose who governs it. It has to free to manage its own affairs. This agreement obliterates every one of these conditions.
The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous co-existence.
The word ‘peaceful’ and the word ‘prosperous’ exist in a world where the Sun shines. The Sun does not shine in this agreement: it lives in a world of black where anything and everything is whatever the people who wrote it want it to be.
End of Genocide = End of State
Everything that Israel has done and everything that has been done to Palestine are just so deeply wrong and so deeply horrifying that nothing anyone can say or write or imagine captures anything approaching the true proportions of it. In a just world where right and wrong mattered more than power and privilege, European and American Jews would not have come to Palestine to steal its lands and massacre its people and would have stayed in Europe and America where they belong, and the Palestinian People would be free to shape their own destiny as they wish and to pursue their own self-determination as they will it to be. This is not the world we live in.
But even we when account for all this, Trump’s plan for Gaza is hugely problematic. Imagine a terrible crime has been committed, and the victim is then placed under a conservatorship by the very people who committed the crime - this is what this plan amounts to. It poisons the reasonable possibility of a Palestinian state at root.
A state without an army is not a state. A state that cannot decide for itself what constitutes a danger or a threat is not a state. A state that cannot choose for itself who it wants to govern it is not a state. ‘Want the killing to end, want the nightmare to end, want aid to get in, want your people to be taken care of? We’ll end the genocide once you agree to the conservatorship and give up on having a state of your own’ - this is what Trump’s Peace Plan for Gaza says to the People of Palestine.

Well, the Israeli Jewish faction who keep Netanyahu in power (democracy,is this how it is supposed to work?) have now got their eye on The Ukraine to colonise and settle (yes, really),and they are busy setting up The Narrative to underpin this. I expect you don't believe me. I didn't believe it when I first heard it but you can Google Heavenly Jerusalem on Earth and find out for yourself. I now think that The Conflict was set up for this very purpose. To this end. I always had a strong feeling the two conflicts were linked. But Putin is involved you cry. Yes,because he and Trump, old Biden, Macron, our android they are all in cahoots in that Big Club. I mean having Crimea and access to the Med is strategically important for Russia but, well if I knew IT ALL I'd be ONE OF THEM but I now know the ultimate objective is to settle in Ukraine and that kind of means USA doesnt it.
Excellent analysis Shane !
